Charles Seymour Luney, 1905 – 2006. Responsible for building the Old City of Christchurch before the Earthquakes of 2011. He built NZ’s Christchurch Town Hall, Princess Margaret Hospital and nearly all of the major structures in the city and was an enigma; a man born during the depression who died before the city he shaped was destroyed.
